OUR RANGE OF CLASSES

We are a unique gym in that we offer a wide range of classes for all fitness levels. Our group classes are a great way to get in shape, meet new people, and have fun; our Recreation Gym is more than just a gym- it’s a community. We have a staff of certified trainers and instructors who are passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals. We also offer personal training services. So whatever your fitness goals are, Recreation Gym can help you achieve them.

BODY COMBAT

Step into a Body Combat workout and you'll punch and kick your way to fitness. This high-energy martial arts is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master.



Recreation Gym is the perfect place to try out this new workout! Our experienced and friendly instructors will guide you through the class, helping you to get the most out of it.

ZUMBA

A Zumba class is a group fitness class that combines fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt the body. The class is based on principles of aerobics and fitness, including cardio and muscle-toning benefits. The class is open to all members of the community. A certified instructor leads the class, and it is designed to help participants improve their fitness levels.

YOGA

Yoga is one type of class that is becoming increasingly popular. Yoga combines postures called asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation. It helps to decrease stress and anxiety, as well as increase strength and flexibility. Certified instructors who have professional expertise in the practice teach yoga classes.

BODY PUMP

One of our most popular classes is BodyPump. This intensive training program uses barbells to help you get lean, toned, and fit. The class is led by a certified instructor who will guide you through a series of exercises that target all major muscle groups.

PILATES

Pilates focuses on body alignment and core strength, which is critical for stability, ease of movement and supporting larger muscle groups. By strengthening these muscles, Pilates can help to improve posture and prevent injuries.


Pilates classes involve working with an instructor and is suitable for all fitness levels.

BOXING

Using a variety of boxing techniques and drills, our boxing class ensures the development of fitness, coordination, strength and most of all confidence. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness. Bring a friend along and don't forget your gloves!

SPIN

Spin is a high-intensity cycling workout performed in our cycle studio. The benefits of practising Spin are burning calories, improving cardio for a healthy heart, and building lean muscle definition. The class starts with a short warm-up to prepare you for the main event - the cycle workout! You’ll ride to the beat of energetic music as our talented instructors motivate and encourage you to push yourself. The class is suitable for all fitness levels, and you can go at your own pace.

STRONGNATION

StrongNation is a revolutionary high-intensity martial arts and kickboxing based workout. Led by music to motivate you to crush your ultimate fitness goals. Helpful to lose weight, tone up and improving co-ordination.

BODY ATTACK

Body Attack is a high-energy fitness class that combines athletic movements like running, lunging, and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. It is an excellent workout for burning calories, toning, and shaping muscles, and improving co-ordination and agility. The class is suitable for total beginners to total addicts, and our experienced instructors will provide modifications to suit all fitness levels.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

Functional fitness exercises are designed to train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks. They often simulate common movements that you might do at home, at work or in sports. Functional exercises can directly benefit joints and numerous muscles, such as elbows, shoulders, spine, hips, knees and ankles. They can also help prevent injuries.

ZUMBA TONING

Zumba Toning keeps Zumba's essence while focusing on strength training the arms, abs and thighs using weighted toning sticks.

AB BLITZ

Recreation Gym’s Ab Blitz is an intense abdominal workout that will help build strength and endurance in your abdominal muscles. The class consists of different moves designed to improve posture, stability, and reduce body fat. We offer group classes that are taught by certified instructors who are experienced in helping people achieve their fitness goals. These classes are held in a safe and supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable while they work hard to get results.
