I’m a passionate individual who enjoys training and pushing myself into new areas of training. My goal is to help others achieve their fitness goals and educate them along the way. I enjoy playing footy, running, strength training and a bit of cycling, and swimming when I’m free. I have competed in a variety of training areas, including a physique show, powerlifting meets, cycling events and triathlons, marathons.

JOHN SAMBANIS

PERSONAL TRAINER

I first joined the gym and started training during high school. In the time since then, fitness has become a major passion of mine and I am now wanting to use that passion to help others achieve their goals. I enjoy teaching the fundamentals and basics of weight training to help people who are new to the gym and are unsure of where to start. I also specialise in body composition training, whether that is trying to lose fat or build muscle to reach your ideal body shape and size.

Semi-Private Coaching

There are many methods of private training, from one-on-one sessions, two-on-one session and semi private training. The semi-private personal training provides the best of both worlds, tailored exercise program through my app with individual attention for continuous progression and at an affordable and accessible package price.

There are many benefits of having the help of a Coach assisting you with your training. This can include ensuring your form and technique is correct whilst lifting, becoming more educated through the process, catering to personal requirements, help you set long-term realistic goals, accountability and to ensure you progress towards your goals.

Semi-private training is scheduled at certain times during the day. Clients commit to how many sessions they can do per week during their consultation. As the popularity of semi private training increases more slots will be added, however there are limited slots per session.

Benefits of Semi-Private Coaching

There are many benefits to strength training that can improve your health. Strength training helps you become stronger, gaining strength allows you to perform daily tasks much easier. Being stronger also helps improve athletic performance in sports that require speed, power and strength. Strength training helps boost your metabolism, by building muscle it increases our metabolic rate, allowing you to essentially eat more food without putting on that excess weight. As you build more muscle you lose fat, this will make you look more toned and leaner, this is because muscle is more dense than fat. Including strength training in your exercise routine reduces your risk of injury. Strength training also helps improve your heart health, blood sugar/pressure levels. There are many many more benefits of strength training.


Semi-Private Training Programs

Coach Laurence is a friendly and experienced individual who is a qualified Exercise Scientist and Strength & Conditioning Coach having a large knowledge in a variety of training modalities. Each program is tailored to the individuals needs and requirements, they're structured and sequenced over time to help you continuously progress. The programs have a large strength base focus to help you get strong and fit for life. Programs are designed in 4 week blocks and are progress-oriented. This means that your body will get the most out of: strength development, lean muscle growth, posture improvement, metabolic conditioning, and fat loss. You won’t get bored or burned out, instead, you’ll feel strong, safe, and empowered by your progress each session!


With the accountability and encouragement of your small group, you’ll meet like-minded people, make friends, and fall in love with exercise in a whole new way.
